How to Sign Up and Begin Your USA Baseball Umpire Certification

Create Your Account

Visit https://usabdevelops.com/ and click the Register button.

• Follow the prompts to set up your account.
• When asked to select an organization, choose Riverfront Baseball.

Select Your Role

• During registration, you’ll be asked a few general questions about your role (Administrator, Coach, Medical Professional, Umpire, etc.).
• Be sure to check the box for Umpire.

Complete the Background Check

• A background check is required to proceed with training.
• This is the only cost involved, and it’s $10.

Access Your Courses

• Once your account is set up, go to the My Account section on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
• You may automatically be enrolled in Umpire courses. If not, click on Available Courses to find them.
• Start with the course titled Introduction to Umpiring.
• We also recommend you take the Basic First Aid course as we are asking our coaches to do the same.

Progress Tracking

• Riverfront Baseball will be able to verify if the background check is complete.
• We’ll also be able to track your progress through the training.
